Covid-19 Information

The office is open as it has been for some time. Masks are required inside if you have not been fully vaccinated. Please continue to be cautious and do not come into the office if you are not feeling well or have been recently exposed to Covid. Thank you for your patience during this trying time!


Budget Hearing - The draft budget is open for publication comment until December 20th and it can be found on our Documents page.

Recreation Survey - The Recreation Survey is complete and the results can be found by clicking here. We had 460 total people respond and greatly appreciate those who took time to complete it. The park committee and Board will use your input to develop plans at the park and recreation in the future. The next step will be developing a draft of the plan for public review.The final step is Board approval of the 5 year plan. Look for the draft plan in early December.

Effective June 1, Lake Charter Township has resumed applying the 10% late penalty to water and sewer bills.

2021 Winter Taxes will be sent out in early December and are due February 14th. If for some reason you don't receive your bill at that time, please give us a call. Both summer and winter taxes can be paid to the Township until February 28th. Give us a call if you have any questions
