Mark your calendars!

Fireman's Pancake Breakfast will be held June 10th from 8:00-12:00 at the Lake Township Public Safety Building, located at 3169 Shawnee Road in Bridgman. Pancakes, sausage and beverages will be provided.  All you can eat. Please come and support our great fire department!

Our new electronic sign has been installed and will be active very soon! The new sign will be a great way to inform you of meeting dates, upcoming events, and other important community information.

Lake Township Park has now opened! We are accepting pavilion reservations for the 2018 year. For rental details and a calendar or availability, please visit the Parks page. The disc golf renovation project will continue and be completed this spring. Our goal is to have new permanent signage and astroturf tee pads installed early this season. The new holes in the woods are playable. After these improvements the course will be one of the nicest in the area. Come out and give it a try. Thanks to the hole sponsors and the Sand Ridge Golf League who have helped with this. There are still some hole sponsor opportunities open. Contact Bob Clark at the Township hall for information. There are several tournaments being planned and we will have a grand opening event upon completion.

Curbside Recycling has started in Lake Township! If you haven't signed up and received a container, it's not too late. Just contact the Township Hall and we'll get you up and running. There is no cost to residents and they pick up once every two weeks the same day as regular garbage is collected. Join hundreds of others committed to helping reduce landfill waste.

Curbside Recycling has been a hit in Lake Township! If you haven't signed up and received a container, it's not too late. Just contact the Township Hall and we'll get you up and running. They pick up once every two weeks the same day as regular garbage is collected. Join hundreds of others committed to helping reduce landfill waste. Lake Township residents recycled 137 tons of material this last year! That is 18 pounds per resident (well above the average of 11-12 pounds state average). We now have 621 residents recycling or just about 50% of all households participating. Lake Township is proud to have started offering this service at no charge to our residents!

Water and sewer payments can now be made securely online! Please see the Water page for more information.

On-line payments. We have had many taxpayers start using our newly introduced e-check online. We estimate combined they have saved nearly $1000 in fees versus the previous credit card processing. The charge is only $3.00 per payment up to $10,000 and is posted to the account immediately. This is a great way to avoid those payment penalties if you are up against the deadline! Visit the Treasurers page for more information.
