News/Announcements

Park and Recreation Master Plan - The master plan has been approved by both the park committee and the Township Board. Thank you to all those that participated in the survey which is part of the plan. We have already established cross country ski trails at the park that was requested in the survey. We will be renovating the concession buildings and installing exercise equipment this summer. We are already working on some of the recommendations in the survey!

Bridgman-Lake Township Soccer - Registration for the 2022 spring season is now open! Registrations are being held January 15th from 11:00-2:00 at Hardings, January 23rd at Bridgman Middle School (Floor Hockey) from 11:00-2:00, and January 29th at the Bridgman Public Library from 11:00-2:00. Registration information by mail and other information about the league can be found at the website www.bltysl.org. All games are played at beautiful Lake Township Park! All area youth are welcome. Don't wait - registration closes February 1st!

Cross Country Skiing Comes to Lake Township Park! - A cross country ski trail has been defined at the park. For a map of the trail, click here. It is marked with orange flags. Please use the off season lot for parking and the trail begins at the gate. It is 1.3 miles around and has shorter loop options. Please stay on the trail and abide by all the normal summer rules of the park. There were several requests for this in the park survey. We listened!

Effective June 1, Lake Charter Township has resumed applying the 10% late penalty to water and sewer bills.

2021 Winter Taxes - The winter tax bills have been sent out and are due February 14th
